Apart from sourcing the right product for our clients, we are fully committed in assuring goods reaching to our customer’s doorstep are meeting the expected AQL (Acceptance Quality Level) requirements. Our main objectives of carrying out pre-shipment inspection is also to make sure no containers exported are reported rejected or complains when reaching to our customer’s hand.
Normally referred as water-leak test, this test is designed to detect any pinhole defects on the tested gloves. Things to look out for is water leakage on finger, palm, between finger and wrist area.
Most of the manufacturer on carry out either water-tight test or air-tight test to determine the pinhole level. Air-tight test is done to address the disadvantages of water-tight test which is to check for pinholes around finger-tip area.
This test is done in a bright lighted room to spot visual defects on the gloves. The most common defects are dirt, stains, lump, flow mark, and powder mark.
Gloves Thickness Inspection
Chosen randomly, gloves are to be texted for its thickness around cuff, palm and finger area to confirm that it meets the minimum specification.
Glove Length Inspection
As the minimum length requirement for ASTM standard is 230mm and EN standard is 240mm, it’s crucial to make sure that the gloves must meet its end user market’s requirements.
Glove Width Inspection
While carrying out the inspection, gloves are randomly inspected on the width to ensure there are no mix sizes.
Verify the Weight and Counting (pcs)
Often during production, gloves weight will fluctuate on the allowed tolerance of 0.2g per piece. In the event of gloves found doesn’t meet this requirement, the whole batch will be rejected. The weight fluctuation will also indirectly affect the average pieces of gloves when comes to counting.
Before every shipment is cleared for export, a tensile report will be submitted to us for review. ASTM standards are more stringent than EN Standards therefore this physical property of gloves should not be overlooked.
To determine the durability and usability of the gloves after storage for a long period of time, aging oven is used to accelerate the aging process of the gloves. Set at 70 degree Celsius for 7 days, the condition mimics the gloves to be stored for a life span of 3 years.
When customers prefer products to be packed with their own packaging, we have an in-house packing centre to cater for the request.
Loading Supervision & Sealing of Containers
When a shipment is cleared to be exported, a HSG personnel will designated to supervise on the loading of the container up to sealing it with bullet and plastic seal.
